Set in the heart of the beautiful village of Compton Dundon near Street, Castlebrook Cottages provide traditional accommodation that's homely, ideal for relaxing, and very affordable for short breaks and holidays in any season. Our two cottages are Pool Hay, sleeping five, and Press Bars, sleeping three. They stand on our 8-acre estate, with access to a shared garden and to private fishing facilities, and they are beautiful 18th Century properties just a short walk from the centre of the village. We want you to feel completely at home during your stay at Castlebrook Cottages, so please feel free to park your cars on site. If you've any laundry to do, you're also welcome to use our washing machine by arrangement.
Here at Castlebrook Cottages, we're just a short drive from the Clarks Village Shopping Centre. Historic Wells, and Glastonbury, are both easily accessible by road, and there are other local attractions including Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, and nearby leisure activities including horse riding, an outdoor pool and a sports centre. Both properties, here at Castlebrook Cottages, are particularly homely and cosy. We've furnished both cottages to the same, traditional standard, and have equipped the kitchens in each cottage with a selection of essential appliances including fridges, microwaves and cookers. Media facilities in both cottages include TVs and music systems, and both properties are heated with an electric fire. In Pool Hay Cottage, you'll find a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a single bedroom, and in Press Bars Cottage you'll find a double and a single room. Both cottages have shower rooms, comfortable living areas, and dining facilities.
