Primrose and Simon offer you a warm welcome to Trudox Mead Country Bed and Breakfast. Our charming B&B enjoys a beautiful rural setting just south of Frome in Somerset. We are very close to Longleat and Stourhead National Trust. Our house lies amidst stunning dairy farmland and allows you a truly rural experience. We offer the choice of a delicious and light breakfast or a more hearty cooked breakfast to set you up for the day. All our ingredients are fresh and local. We are centrally located for visiting Wells, Bath, Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, Bristol, Stonehenge and Salisbury. Guests are welcome to walk in the gardens and local paddocks where you are likely to meet our two friendly dogs and Bantam hens! There are a range of excellent pubs in the area, serving a fine range of traditional ales and delicious food. Walkers and ramblers are welcome at Trudox Mead Country B&B, with a variety of different routes to suit everyone's needs. Why not visit the nearby Nunney Castle, or Frome's historic town centre? There are two golf courses nearby as well as Wells Cathedral or get a taste of Americana at Bath's American museum. There is something close by to keep everyone entertained!

Rooms Description

We have two twin or double bedrooms available in the annex and the main house. Each room is en-suite and equipped with colour television and tea and coffee making facilities. A sofa bed is available to form a family room that will sleep up to four.

Specialities

Dogs are very welcome and although we don't allow them in our guest rooms, we have a kennel or our back kitchen to accommodate them. All-in dog food is available at £2.00 per meal so you needn't worry about your treasured pet! Baby sitting by the owners is also available by arrangement.
