Clifton House is a splendid guest house providing stylish bed & breakfast accommodation in the picturesque market town of Bradford on Avon just seven miles from the historic city of Bath. Dating from the 17th century, with Victorian façade, Clifton House was originally a coaching inn and therefore continues a long history of hospitality. Family owned and run, we offer wonderful bed and breakfast accommodation, and rooms for that special occasion or small function, with exceptional service and at competitive rates.

The guest drawing room is available exclusively for your comfort and enjoyment with squashy sofas for lazy days and Sunday papers. Our five elegantly presented rooms have flat screen tv; fine furniture, bedding and mattresses; blackout curtains and central heating. The range of accommodation comprises of two four poster ensuite bedrooms, a bedroom with private bathroom, a twin bed room with private shower room and a king sleigh bed room with private shower room.

Specialities

Convenientely located next door to the church, Clifton House makes the ideal venue for accommodation for wedding guests and our main bedroom can be dressed as a bridal suite. We can also cater for smaller functions of up to 50 guests in the summer in our marquee and up to 20 guests in our elegant dining room. We offer conference facilities with daily and overnight rates are available for delegates.
