Weston House Cottages are set in the quiet rural village of East Chinnock, close to Yeovil in Somerset. There is a lane behind the cottages that leads to some well marked footpaths, ideal for exploring the surrounding countryside and beautiful hamstone villages. The Liberty Trail starts locally and leads to Lyme Regis on the Dorset coast, though this does take two days. The cottages are well placed for exploring and the Dorset and Devon borders can be found close by. There are a number of country houses and gardens well worth a visit including Montacute House, Sherborne Castles and Abbey, Ham Hill Country Park and Cricket St Thomas Wildlife Park

There are three self catering holiday cottages to choose from - The Byre, The Stable and The Dairy. The Byre is the smallest of the three and sleeps four in a twin bedroom and double sofa bed in the lounge area. The Stable sleeps four in two spacious en-suite double bedrooms, one of which is a wet floor shower. This cottage has good wheelchair access throughout and is suitable for those with limited mobility. Finally, The Dairy is the largest of all, sleeping five people in a double, twin and single bedroom. All cottages are well equipped with Freeview TV, DVD, video, CD player and board games and books for your entertainment. All linen and towels are included and a cot and high chair is available on request. There is a shared laundry room for your convenience and free WiFi Internet access throughout. An outdoor swimming pool is available for use between June and August.

The Bye Cottage sleeps 2-4 comprising of 1 bedroom and double sofa bed in the lounge, bathroom & fully equipped kitchen. The Dairy Cottage sleeps 5 consisting of 3 bedrooms, lounge, bathroom & fully equipped kitchen. The Stable Cottage sleeps 4 comprising of 2 bedrooms, lounge, kitchen, wet floor shower room. Each cottage includes heating, hot water & electricity, all linen & towels, freeview, DVD, video & Cd radio cassette player. Iron & ironing board. Hairdryer. Board games/toys, books, maps & local information. Cot /Highchair on request Shared laundry room. Free WiFi.

Specialities

Visitors are very welcome to use the large outdoor swimming pool it is available in the summer months of June to August. It is set in a sheltered walled-off area behind the owners' farmhouse and is solar heated, hence temperature is very much weather dependant!
