Primrose Hill Bed and Breakfast is situated in a pretty valley, on 57 acres of farmland part grazed by sheep and cattle. The property lies close to West Compton near Shepton Mallet and the village of Pilton, perhaps best known as the home of the Glastonbury Festival. The beautiful views and abundant wildlife make this a relaxing place for a one night stay, a holiday or business trip. Walkers will love the area and we are central to some lovely circular rambles, no need for the car here! Wells, England's smallest city, is just a fifteen minute drive away and is home to a host of interesting sights as well as a twice weekly market.

The Bath and West show ground is only a 10 minute drive, they hold major shows and exhibitions almost every week. Other attractions to be found in the locality include Wookey Hole, Cheddar gorge and caves, Glastonbury, the Fleet Air Arm Museum at Yeovilton, the Haynes Motor Museum at Sparkford and Longleat Safari Park. A drive to the west will bring you to the Somerset coast and the resorts of Weston-Super-Mare, Brean Sands and Burnham on Sea. Rooms Description

We have four bedrooms, 1 double en suite and 2 family rooms en suite on the first floor. The other is on the ground floor with an adjacent luxury private bathroom. All are spacious and bright, tastefully furnished and welcoming. On the first floor is the guest lounge/diner, with a TV and CD/radio with lovely views to the north east and west. In the corner of the lounge is a small well equipped kitchen with a full size cooker and microwave. Guests are welcome to use this facility if they do not wish to eat out in the evening. A fridge for all guest use is situated on the first floor landing.

Wake up to a delicious brealfast served on the second floor (we can arrange for it to be served downstairs if you are unable to use the stairs). the ground floor room is wheelchair friendly. A cot and Z bed are available if required, price on application.
