Grade II listed traditional country inn with superb, spacious guest rooms and award winning restaurant in Shepton Mallet. We offer the ideal base for a walking holiday in the Mendips or for visiting some of Somerset's lovely attractions. Wells Cathedral, the lions of Longleat, the caves of Cheddar Gorge and Wookey Hole are all within easy reach as the the historic cities of Bath and Glastonbury. The inn also has a large function room available for wedding receptions, conferences and private parties.

The Thatched Cottage has eight fully refubished and beautifully presented ensuite guest rooms. Each is individually designed with contemporary oak flooring and cream walls. All the bathrooms have slate floors, baths and showers. The superior rooms have separate double showers. Guests are welcome to relax in the sunny garden with one of our champion real ales or a glass of one our good wines.
