Unique, sensitively converted, stone built, 18th century coaching house, separate from Little Fountains the main house. Quiet and private, this is luxurious boutique bed and breakfast accommodation. This is a completely self contained, country cottage retreat in the pretty village of Dulcote, situated in the heart of Somerset. Just a short walk from Wells, this is the perfect place for a romantic weekend, business trip or to spend a week’s holiday in the delightful village and explore the pretty town of Somerset.

The Coach House B&B cottage is a great base from which to explore Wells, England's smallest cathedral city, Glastonbury and the surrounding area. Also very convenient for Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole caves, the Mendip Hills, the Somerset Levels, the Royal Bath & West Showground, Clarks Village for discount shopping and Millfield School. Bristol and Bath are only half an hour away and so is Longleat. If you like to visit great gardens Stourhead is half an hour away, as are, Tintinhull and Montecute and even the new National Trust property Tyntesfield, at Wraxall near Bristol is within easy reach.

Rooms Description

The Coach House B&B cottage sleeps 4-6 comfortably. One large double (king size bed) and one twin room (can be made up as a superking double too!), both with original beams. The spacious double room also has a sofa bed for extra flexibility. There's a sofabed also available in the living room downstairs. So bring your friends or family. We can cope - just call and ask. Get up when you feel like it. No fixed breakfast times to keep to. From the spacious double room there are fabulous views of the garden and over towards the Mendip Hills and Wells Cathedral. When you stay in the Coach House it is always let exclusively to one party at a time.

Specialities

We specialise in offering all the advantages of B&B accommodation with all the freedom of self catering and relaxation of being at home. We only let the coach house out to one group or couple, so it is for your exclusive use. Free WIFI. Dog Friendly - we have our own old lady lab, Lottie and a puppy called Chumbawumba.
