Lois Country Cottages offer self catering farm holidays in beautiful Blackmore Vale in Somerset. We offer two renovated barns set around a small courtyard. The barns and the farmhouse are the only dwellings down Lois Lane, which leads to traditional meadows grazed by suckler cows and calves. The farm lies close to the borders of Somerset, Dorset and Wiltshire and the countryside consists of small fields bordered by blackthorn and hazel hedges. There are many clearly marked footpaths and bridleways to enjoy in the surrounding countryside.

The Blue Barn sleeps up to four people and consists of a lounge/diner with Freeview V, video/DVD player, books and games and a fully fitted kitchen with electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge and washing machine. Patio windows lead from the lounge area onto a private patio area with a small garden overlooking the surrounding fields. The master bedroom is on the ground floor and the second bedroom, with twin beds, is located on the first floor.

Rooms Description

The Green Barn sleeps up to six people and consists of a lounge with Freeview TV, video/DVD player, logburner and a selection of books and games. The kitchen/diner is superbly equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine. A tumble dryer and freezer are also available. The master bedroom, with en-suite facilities, is located on the ground floor. A further two bedrooms, with twin beds, can be found on the first floor. The property has a private patio and small garden with views over farmland.
