A large self catering holiday cottage sleeping up to 8 in the village of Drayton standing at the foot of the Mendip Hills in the Cheddar Valley.

A charming self catering holiday cottage situated in the village of Drayton, two miles from Cheddar. The village stands at the foot of the Mendip Hills with excellent views of the Somerset Levels. The cottage lies down a quiet country lane and an ideal retreat for a holiday away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The property provides the perfect base for walkers to begin their rambles and there are a great many interesting and varied walks just waiting to be discovered.

Cheddar Gorge and its famous caves are just two miles away by car, though there are plenty of walks that will take you there by a more scenic route. Other attractions to be found within easy reach of Strawberry Fields include the cathedral city of Wells, Glastonbury and the famous Tor and the beautiful Ebbir Gorge Nature Reserve. The local village of Drayton has two local pubs, a post office and farm shop.

Rooms Description

The large lounge has comfortable seating for up to eight people and patio doors leading out onto the sizeable south facing garden. The sitting room is equipped with Freeview colour TV, DVD player and Sega Dreamcast with four games. The well equipped kitchen has grill, hob, fridge, microwave and washing machine and dining table and chairs for eight people. There are three bedrooms; bedroom one has a double bed and two single beds; bedroom two has a double bed, single bed and cot; bedroom three has a single bed.
