A warm, friendly welcome awaits you and your family at Ashton cottages. Here at New House Farm, we have two newly converted holiday homes decorated to a high standard with style and flair. Set amidst the Mendip Hills and Somerset Levels, with views to the dramatic Cheddar Gorge. Ashton cottages are a perfect base for exploring Somerset and the surrounding area. Local interests include Wookey Hole Caves, Glastonbury Tor and the City of Wells with its beautiful Cathedral. Bath and Bristol are both within easy driving distance, as are many other family attractions. We are situated just 1 mile from Wedmore village centre and 2 miles from Cheddar. Wedmore is a quaint picturesque village, steeped in history, dating back to King Alfred the Great. The village boasts many small shops offering clothes, shoes, gifts, tearooms, beauty salons, hairdressers, chemist, post office and butchers. Superb walking, riding and cycling can be enjoyed on the Mendip Hills and Somerset Levels, which also offers an abundance of wildlife. The beach at Weston-Super-Mare is a must! Golf, shooting and fishing are all available within a mile.

Ashton Cottages have been recently converted from a single storey barn, set in the grounds of New House Farm, over looking the beautiful Somerset Levels and the Mendip Hills. Both cottages are central heated sleeping 4/5 and are comfortably furnished to a high standard, with two bedrooms each, one double and one twin. They have a relaxing lounge with a combined dining area and a fully equipped kitchen. Both bathrooms have a shower over the bath, WC with hand basin, mirror, shaver point and electric towel rail. Each cottage has its own private garden with a patio area, garden furniture, barbecue and separate parking for two cars. The can be booked individually or as a pair for extended parties. Single storey being ideal for young and elderly families. Open 11 months a year including Christmas and New Year. Short breaks available.
