Welcome to the Poplar Farm B&B, offering family run guest house accommodation in Somerset. Poplar Farm is a working small-holding of 25 acres rearing animals for beef. We also keep chicken, guinea pigs, rabbits, ducks and Jack Russell Terriers. The building itself has many interesting features including original oak beams. It nestles in the heart of the West Country and is an ideal base for exploring the countryside and abundant historical features of Somerset, or simply for rural relaxation.

Poplar Farm is situated on the Somerset Levels close to the Mendip and Quantock Hills. The area is well served with quality golf courses, the nearest of which is The Isle of Wedmore Golf Club, less than one mile away and highly recommended. Wells, the smallest cathedral city in Britain, is only ten miles away and is well worth a visit. Other attractions to be found within easy reach include Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole and the historic maritime city of Bristol. Bath, with its magnificent Georgian architecture, Roman baths and unique boutique shops is just thirty miles away.
