Welcome to Rose Cottage, ideally positioned to explore the Cotswolds to the North and the Mendips to the South West. Bourton-on-the-Water, Forest of Dean and Wye Valley, Longleat, Cheddar and Peter Scott's world famous Wildfowl Trust at Slimbridge are just a few of the many interesting places to visit. Finding one's way through the Georgian elegance of Bath can be a holiday in itself, with an excellent shopping centre.

The surrounding area is popular for its many golf courses and only a quarter of a mile away is Tracy Park Gold and Country Club with swimming pool, tennis and squash courts, croquet lawns and a restaurant. Trout fishing on local reservoirs and coarse fishing at the marina can be enjoyed nearby on the River Avon, slip and mooring facilities are available for the boating enthusiast. The cottage is set in its own garden which runs down on the river's edge, where the Kingfisher is sighted and moorhens make their home.

The accommodation is comfortably furnished and has been well modernised to a practical standard, yet still maintains its original character. The accommodation consists of a large lounge with fitted carpet, three piece suite, coffee table, bookcase and colour TV; a dining room with table and chairs and stairs leading to the bedrooms; a bright, working kitchen with electric cooker, fridge, electric kettle, kitchen units with white enamel sink and kitchen utensils; a bathroom with bath and wash basin and separate WC. To the first floor, the first bedroom has a double bed and one single bed with wardrobes, dressing table, bedside cabinet and bedside lamp. The second bedroom has 2 single beds and a sloping ceiling. A folding bed is also available.

Heating by electric fire and oil filled radiators, night storage heaters available at an additional charge, £1 coin meter. Babysitting by arrangement. No Pets. Parking. Linen if required is £6 per person, per week upon request.
