Brian and Charlotte welcome you to The Old Parsonage, a beautiful 17th century Grade II listed house situated off the A37 between Bath, Bristol and Wells on the edge of the Mendip Hills, and area of outstanding natural beauty. Our central location means we are ideal for both business or leisure. Dating back to the 1680s, it was owned by the Duchy of Cornwall for over 200 years and retains many of its original features including a 17th Century staircase. A blend of old and new creates a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere and we aim to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

Spend a day in the city of Bath, with its hot springs, Roman baths, impressive Abbey and Georgian stone crescents. Alternatively, Bristol is less than half an hour away. The city has an historic maritime port, impressive architecture and rich cultural heritage. Glastonbury is also within easy reach where you can visit the Abbey and Tor. There are numerous pubs and restaurants close by, one just a 2 minute walk away. We also offer a number of beauty treatments including facial treatments and massages.

Rooms Description

We have five guest rooms, three in the house and two self catering studios in our private courtyard. All have tea and coffee making facilities as well as digital TV/DVD. Rooms have an interesting collection of antique furniture and beautiful chandeliers combined with modern facilities to make your stay very comfortable and relaxing. Enjoy our guest sitting room and enjoy a full English breakfast in our beamed dining room.

Specialities

We have ample off street parking, dry storage for bikes and we can organise a taxi from any point to the Old Parsonage and provide you with a quote in advance. There is WiFi throughout.
