Thorney Farm Holiday Cottages offers a selection of delightful self catering homes in historic Mulcheney. Nestled in the heart of the Somerset countryside choose from four luxury holiday cottages. Central for Taunton; Yeovil and Weston Super Mare. Set in the grounds of Gothic House encompassed by beautiful gardens and open countryside. Guests are welcome to relax and enjoy use of the garden area. Each cottage is individually styled and furnished to a high standard and able to accommodate two to four guests. If you are a large group or have a family celebration the cottages are close to one another or can interlink to sleep twelve.

Thorney Farm Holiday Cottages is the ideal location for peace and tranquillity a perfect base to enjoy walking, cycling and bird watching. We are located on the River Parrett trail, a beautiful trail through unspoilt countryside. The historical village of Muchelney is a mile away and has many sights such as it's famous Abbey and Priests House. The nearest town is Langport just under three miles away. Within easy reach are a number of excellent pubs and restaurants. There are also all of the wonderful villages, towns and cities close by such as Somerton, Wells, Glastonbury and Bath.

Choose from from 4 cottages: Bracken Cottage - Sleeps 2 Stunning property with four poster bed & jacuzzi bath. Orchard Cottage - Sleeps 2 Beautiful open plan living area with double bedroom. Ivy Cottage - Sleeps 2 Delightful lounge with wood burner & large double bedroom. Kenwood Cottage - Sleeps 4 Two bedroom home with a lovely garden area. All the cottages have TV's, Freeview, DVD Players, CD players. All the kitchens fully equipped including fridges, ovens, dishwashers & microwaves. Duvets of a suitable tog for the time of year, linens & towels are included. All the cottages have gas central heating with radiators. Each cottage has an outside area with tables and chairs.
Specialities
We keep a small selection of farm animals here including sheep, pigs and chickens. Outside there is a children's play area with swings and a slide. We also have a 12 ft trampoline with safety net. Pets welcomed, WIFI access available.

From the A303 At the Podimore roundabout take the A372 signposted to Langport. Follow that road into Huish Episcopi then there is a left turning to Muchelney. Continue along this road you will also see signs for Pottery, once you have reached the pottery Thorney Farm Cottages are the next property on the left. From the M5 From Junction 25 Leave at junction 25 and at the Blackbrook roundabout take the 4th exit on to the A358 signposted Yeovil. Enter Ruishton and turn left onto the A378. Go through Langport and take the A372 turning to the right. Follow this road until you get to a church with a sign post to Muchelney. Take this right turn and continue along this road you will also see signs for Pottery, once you have reached the pottery Thorney Farm Cottages are the next property on the left. From Junction 23 Follow the signs to Bridgewater, when you enter into Bridgewater you will come to Cross Rifles roundabout where you go straight ahead. There is then a sign post with Langport to the left take this turning and follow the signs to Langport. Go through Langport and take the A372 turning to the right. Follow this road until you get to a church with a sign post to Muchelney. Take this right turn and continue along this road you will also see signs for Pottery, once you have reached the pottery Thorney Farm Cottages are the next property on the left.
