Both these attractions are within walking distance. Accommodation is a totally self contained private annexe within the country house. Stunning panoramic views of wooded hills are to the rear of the property, and facilities on-site include off road parking, a private guests garden, a shed for bicycle storage and a feature outdoor covered heated swimming pool. Fairhaven Self Catering is a private, self contained Annexe within a large country house. Sleeps 2 adults. Off road private parking is provided free of charge. There is a wonderful view of the garden and wooded hills to the rear, and the property is close to a number of National Trust ( and similar) properties. Fairhaven is a short walk away from Montacute and a mere 5 miles west of historic market town Yeovil and perfectly placed for touring both Somerset and Dorset. Outdoor leisure pursuits including cycling, horse riding and golf. A choice of fine country pubs and restaurants as well as a mini market for essentials are situated in the nearby village. Historic Wells, Glastonbury and Lyme Regis and the Dorset coast are all within easy driving distance. The owners are always on hand to give help and advice if needed.

We try to be as eco friendly as possible providing eco friendly soap, toilet paper and tissues. Also facilities for glass, paper recycling etc. are on hand. The apartment has separate adjustable controls for heating. Electricity and gas use is free of charge but we would encourage our guests to be responsible in power use
