Staple Cross Cottage is a beautifully appointed former 18thC coaching stables offering bed and breakfast accommodation in rural Mid-Devon on the Somerset border. The wide choice of holiday attractions near the property include the Grand Western Canal & Country Park, Knighthayes Court & Gardens (NT), Tarr Steps pre-historic footbridge and the idyllic West Somerset Railway. A friendly atmospheric local inn is situated adjacent, perfect for evening meals with no need for car use.

Extensive facilities are within this charming historic Coaching Stables B&B including bicycles for exploring the local countryside, attractive guest lounge with log burner and ample off road parking. Breakfast is served in our dining room which has French window views to the garden. Breakfast menu choice is extensive cooked on our Aga-Rayburn inclusive of Full English Breakfast or choice of Kippers, Scrambled eggs & smoked salmon or Pancakes sweet or savoury. Vegetarian options are offered and a full compliment of fruit juice, cereal, toast & tea and coffee choice available.
