This 16th century coaching inn has been and still is an important landmark within the community.The Ralegh's Cross Inn is a privately owned free house offering bed and breakfast accommodation on the edge of Exmoor National Park. On a clear day there are magnificent views to Dunkery Beacon and south to the Bristol Channel and the Welsh Hills beyond. At Ralegh's Cross we aim to offer a relaxed and friendly service providing an experience that doesn't break the bank.
The restaurant has a regularly changing specials board and ever popular carvery and more recently our steak and curry nights have been extremely popular. Our head chef sources local ingredients, whether it be beef, lamb or pork for the carvery, local cheeses and delicious farmhouse ice creams and sorbets. The hotel is also positioned within ten miles of three breweries, all of whom produce some seriously good beer.
We offer seventeen comfortable bedrooms, each with colour television, hospitality tray and direct dial telephone with modem for internet access. Six of our rooms are on the ground floor annexe and are suitaable for disabled guests.
2, 3 and 5 day golf breaks can be arranged at the links course at Minehead or a challenging inland course at Taunton or Wellington.
