A highly commended four star guest house in a Victorian town house in Minehead, Somerset. The house has been thoughtfully renovated to perfectly combine period charm with the modern comforts you would expect from a quality B&B. The decor is in soft shades of William Morris period colours complimented with barley twist furnishings and vintage linen and lace. Steve and Sandy extend a warm welome to those visiting Minehead and the Exmoor Coast and Countryside. Sandy was a finalist for the 2007 AA Alndlay of the Year Award.

Kenella House bed and breakfast provides the ideal base for exploring Minehead, Exmoor and the rugged Somerset and North Devon coastline. Steve and Sandy welcome walkers and cyclists and there are heated coat and boot cupboards and secure cycle storage available. The South West Coast Path starts in Minehead just five minutes walk from the accommodation. Lovers of steam trains and rail travel will find the West Somerset Railway Station a two minute level walk away and steam trains can be heard from the accommodation.

Rooms Description

All guest bedrooms are en-suite and have original fireplaces and are comfortably furnished, including period style brass knobbe bedsteads. Each room is complete with colour television, beverage tray, alarm clock and hairdryer.

Specialities

Baggage transfers to accommodation in Porlock, or further, can be arranged for those walking the South West Coast Path. We reget that the guest house is unsuitable for pets or children under the age of fourteen. Evening meals available four evenings a week by prior arrangement. Non smoking throughout.
