A small, family run bed and breakfast located on a working farm in the Aville Valley, close to Dunster and the somerset seaside resort of Minehead

Burnells Gardens offers farmhouse style bed and breakfast accommodation in the picturesque Aville Valley between Dunster and the Exmoor village of Timberscombe. Our location makes this the ideal base for touring the beautiful South West. Exmoor National Park is just a short drive away, as is the Somerset seaside resort of Minehead. The nearby village of Dunster and Minehead itself offer a variety of shops, restaurants and pubs. A steam railway can be found at Dunster, perfect for the rail enthusiast.

The farm lies on the river and we supply a chimnea which can be used in the gardens or by the river where you may be lucky enough to spot the resident otters or kingfishers as you dine. Guests are free to wander the farm and meet fellow residents Moira the pig and Flora and Marge, the goats. Animals are an important part of life at Burnells Gardens and we welcome dogs and their owners. Dogs can be accommodated in the kennels, in your room or in your car - the choice is yours. Stabling and grazing on well fenced paddocks is also available. Hay, straw and shavings are provided at cost and mucking out services can be provided.
