The farm is located just one mile from Wheddon Cross, the highest village on Exmoor, where you will find a good pub, shop and garage. The popular seaside resort of Minehead is just nine miles away and the stunning North Devon coastline from Porlock to Lynmouth lies within easy reach. The medieval village of Dunster, with its historic castle and Yarn Market, is just six miles away. Despite the areas amny attractions, the main reason people are dran to this beautiful part of Somerset is the vast open moorland and wooded valleys of Exmoor itself.

Exmoor is excellent for walking holidays with the South West Coastpath, the Twon Moors Way and the Coleridge Way all lying within its boundaries, along with numerous other waymarked trails. There are over 450 miles of bridleways, open to horse riders and cyclists and Exmoor has some of the best riding country in England. For those who love fishing, there are a wide variety of reservoirs and rivers to choose from. Begin the day with a hearty breakfast served in our bright dining room, overlooking the garden. Evening meals, made using local Exmoor produce and served by candlelight, are available by prior arrangement.

We are a non smoking establishment and are unsuitable for children or pets. Should you wish to bring your pet on holiday, we have kennels nearby who would be happy to accommodate your dog.
