Holmdale Bed and Breakfast is set in the very heart of the Exmoor National Park. The stunning landscape can be explored from your doorstep, many circular routes start from here offering magnificent views across the Bristol Channel to Wales and Dartmoor. The River Barle is home to the ancient stone 'Tarr Steps ' and offers exciting kayaking opportunities. If history is more your thing there are numerous national trust houses and gardens in the area such as Knighthayes Court and Arlington Court in North Devon or why not take a ride on the West Somerset Steam railway. For garden lovers there is RHS Rosemoor nearby. There really is so much to see and do whatever your age or interests amidst this lovely scenery.

Holmdale B&B offers a choice of double or twin en-suite rooms. Rooms have been recently renovated and tastefully decorated. All rooms are equipped with flat screen colour TV's, hospitality trays, maps and local information on walks, rides, good eating haunts and local places of interest. In the morning, enjoy a hearty breakfast of local 'free-range' produce, including the best 'local free range' bacon and sausages and home made seed bread which can be enjoyed in the conservatory overlooking the gardens and valley. Continental style breakfasts also provided. Guests are welcome to enjoy the attractive gardens and private parking. Enjoy your Exmoor holiday with your dog/s as we are a pet friendly and child friendly place to stay.

Specialities

Land Rover guided safari tours can be taken from the village. There is horse riding available at local stables for some of the most scenic rides in the British Isles. Whatever way you choose to explore Exmoor, you will not be far from the roaming herds of wild red deer and the ancient breed of wild Exmoor ponies.
