Located in the heart of Exmoor National Park and set within a 62 acre hill farm, Hillway Lodge is a recently converted south facing single storey lodge. Spacious with three bedrooms, the Lodge is a mere 1 mile from pretty Exmoor village Withypool which has a friendly old pub, village shop and Post Office. The ancient monuments of Cow Castle and Tarr Steps are within easy reach and the Lodge is perfectly sited for access to horse riding, birdwatching, painting and walking. The Two Moors Way passes Hillway Farm and stabling and grazing are available on request.

Much of the farm consists of ancient upland oak woodland and on the southern boundary sits the River Barle, a Site of Special Scientific Interest and home to numerous wildlife including otters and goosander ducks. The Lodge has parking space adjacent for three cars and well behaved dogs are most welcome for a small fee. The accommodation in non-smoking throughout in the interior and short breaks are available outside peak season.
