This is a listed family home, dating back in parts to the Tudor period, around 1540.
During the summer, morning coffees, cream teas and light lunches are served in the garden.

The village lies in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, nestled between the Quantock and Brendon Hills on the edge of Exmoor National Park. There are many footpaths through the local countryside around Stogumber where the landscape is rich in wildlife. The interesting beaches at Doniford and Kilve and the ancient port of Watchet are only a fifteen minute drive away, whilst Porlock, Lynton and Woolacombe are within easy reach, as are Dunkery Beacon, Tarr Steps, Dunster Castle, Selworthy and Lorna Doone Valley.
Wick House is ideally situated for all country pursuits including fishing at Clatworthy, canoeing and sailing at Wimbleball Reservoirs, horse riding on Exmoor, mountain biking and walking. For steam railway enthusiasts, the West Somerset Steam Railway stops at Stogumber from where you can journey to Minehead via Watchet and Dunster. Upon your return in the evening, why not try a delicious meal in the licensed restaurant.
All of our guest bedrooms are en-suite and equipped with television and tea and coffee making facilities. Disabled accommodation is also available with wheelchair access from carpark to bedroom.
Children of all ages are welcome. Please note, all rooms and public spaces inside Wick House are strictly non-smoking. Walkers can be taken to their start point and picked up at the end of the day, by prior arrangement.
