The interesting beaches at Doniford and Kilve and the ancient port of Watchet are only a fifteen minute drive away, whilst Porlock, Lynton and Woolacombe are within easy reach, as are Dunkery Beacon, Tarr Steps, Dunster Castle, Selworthy and Lorna Doone Valley.

Wick House is ideally situated for all country pursuits including fishing at Clatworthy, canoeing and sailing at Wimbleball Reservoirs, horse riding on Exmoor, mountain biking and walking. For steam railway enthusiasts, the West Somerset Steam Railway stops at Stogumber from where you can journey to Minehead via Watchet and Dunster.
