Mill Lodge is a four star family holiday home situated on the site of Burcott Mill, originally built for the bishop of nearby Wells around 950 AD. The mill is commecially run to this day and is also a working museum, being one of the few remaining water powered mills in operation today. A private tour of the working mill with our miller, at your convenience, is a feature of your stay here. The mill is situated just one mile from the historic cathedral city of Wells and the famous Wookey Hole Caves. Other attractions within easy reach include the world heritage city of Bath, Cheddar Caves and Gorge, Glastonbury and the famous Tor and the Victorian seaside resort of Weston Super Mare.

On one level is the open plan kitchen and ddining area, twin bedroom and bathroom. Upstairs is the living area with exposed beams and stone walls and a galleried play area. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, hob, fridge, microwave and CD/radio. The lounge area is complete with large screen colour TV, DVD, video player and a galleried play area for kids with bean bags and colour TV and video. Sleeping accommodation consists of one twin bedroom, with additional sleeping for two on the double sofa bed in the lounge or on camp beds on the gallery. A cot and high chair is available. Baby-sitting can be arranged, if available, for an extra charge. Well behaved pets are welcome by prior arrangement.
