Arden Cottage offers a 'home from home' experience. This beautiful 15C thatched cottage provides 4 star silver B&B accommodation in a tranquil setting. Arden Cottage itself has been lovingly and sympathetically restored using traditional methods, retaining many original features. Breakfast is made from local produce and is served from 7:30am to 9:30am to allow you to enjoy a well deserved lay-in. Our 3 bedrooms are full of character and charm. We have one pretty ensuite double/twin room. One family room consisting of a superking bedroom with large 6ft 6inch mahogany sleigh bed and next door to this is a large single room with a bed that tilts head and tail. These two rooms offer a very private area for families, businessmen and contractors. These two rooms share a shower room.

A full English breakfast is prepared daily on the Aga and for those who like an alternative we can whip up a smoothie or provide crunchy homemade granola. Jane is qualified in the Bowen Technique and is happy to book you a treatment during your stay. For walkers of the Coleridge Way, we are happy to offer you luggage transfers and pick-ups from other destinations for a small fee. Off road parking, enclosed garden, sunny conservatory, Wi-Fi access and a place to relax and unwind are available. We have a special 'dog room' for those family pets who are used to their own accommodation. This room used to be the Corn-drying room, and is set at the top of the stairs and offers the ideal spot for your pet to stay.

Specialities
We have a special 'dog room' for those family pets who are used to their own accommodation. This room used to be the Corn-drying room, and is set at the top of the stairs and offers the ideal spot for your pet to stay. We also work with a company called Animals at Home as a 'host' family for dogs that need somewhere to stay when their owners go on holiday (an alternative to kennels). We can also offer treatments in The Bowen Technique, Hot Stone Massage and organise yoga retreats a couple of times a year. Keep an eye on the Special Events page.

Directions
Travel West on the M4 to junction 20. Head South West on the M5 until junction 23 where you exit the motorway. Go around the roundabout taking the 2nd exit on your left. Travel 700yrds down a dual carriageway to another roundabout. Go left signposted towards North Bridgwater. Go straight over the next roundabout and as you approach the first set of traffic lights get into the middle of road and turn right. The road is signposted A39 towards Minehead. Continue along this road for approximately 17 miles. As you come into Williton you'll go over a bridge. Stay on this road for about ¼ mile until you pass Bishopsgate Veterinary Surgery on your left. Immediately start to indicate right. Arden Cottage can be seen on the right hand side, set back from the road behind a hedge, and is the first gate on the right after the Vets. If you pass Thresher's office license you've gone too far!!
