A charming, historic house- built in the 12th Century as part of a Benedictine priory- now converted for B&B accommodation with a self-catering cottage attached, set in tranquil Dunster, a traditional Somerset village. The seaside resort of Minehead is just a couple of miles away, with plenty to see and do for families and guests of all ages. The curious Dunkery Vineyard is also a short while away- the largest vineyard in the county with a fine array of white and red wines. The neighbouring village of Blue Anchor is also home to the Blue Anchor GWR Railway Museum, where visitors can hark back to the goldena ge of the locomotive.

The Old Priory B&B is unique in that it does not offer a television- perfect for guests seeking absolute tranquility. A hearty breakfast is offered in the dining room each morning, using organic, locally-sourced ingredients. The Old Priory self-catering cottage boasts a serene setting. The cottage door opens onto a sitting-room with beams, window seat and Victorian log-burner in an open fireplace. A door leads to the farmhouse kitchen with a large open fireplace, wooden flooring and beams. There is an unusually large cottage stairway with two bedrooms and a bathroom on the landing.
