The village shops sell local produce and the pubs sell beers and ciders brewed locally. Williton lies between Exmoor National Park and the Quantocck Hills, just two mles from the historic port of Watchet. The close proximity of the National Park makes this the perfect base for a walking and other outdoor pursuits. The cottage is just one and a half miles from the sea and there are beautiful and safe sandy beaches within easy reach.
Tudor Thatched Cottage is full of character and antiquity and retains many of its original features including exposed beams and a large inglenook bread oven. The cottage has been thoughtfully restored and now combines traditional period charm with all the modern comforts and conveniences you would expect from a three star self catering holiday home. The property is warm and cosy during the winter time and cool and airy in the summer. The cottage has a large and enclosed landscaped garden, providing total privacy - with fishpond, summerhouse and decking creating a nature retreat for relaxing quality time, as well as a secure play area for children and dogs.
The cottage sleeps six people. It has two bedrooms: one king size with en-suite shower room and a second double. There is also a double sofa bed in the lounge.
We welcome up to two dogs, free of charge. There are many footpaths and tracks around for dog walking.
