A nineteenth century property offering luxurious bed and breakfast accommodation close to Castle Cary in the beautiful Somerset countryside

Greystones House bed and breakfast was built in the nineteenth century and was originally home for the local blacksmith. The house now offers comfortable guest accommodation amidst an attractive mature garden. There is a rather bumpy croquet lawn and hard tennis court on which guests can enjoy a game of either, weather permitting! Greystones has a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere so enjoy your lovely big bedroom with a good book, a pot of tea and a slice of home made cake.

Somerset and neighbouring Dorset are lovely rural counties with some splendid historic towns including Bath, Bristol, Wells and Dorchester. The attractive market towns of Castle Cary and Sherborne are both close by, as is Glastonbury with its famous Tor and abbey. Lyme Regis on the World Heritage Jurassic coast of Dorset is about an hours drive away. At breakfast, we serve only the best local produce we can find with fruit juice, porridge, muesli and yoghurt followed by a cooked breakfast prepared on the Aga.
