Ashcroft B&B is the perfect place to spend a relaxing holiday break away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Whether you're looking to bring your extended family together for a special occasion, have an upmarket hen weekend or you're looking for a quiet, relaxing break, we are just the place! A pretty detached cottage, it has been recently extended and renovated to a very high standard and is set in an exceptional location. Whatever you choose, you will find peace and quiet, home from home comfort, spotless rooms, comfy beds, breathtaking views and a warm and friendly West Country welcome. We also offer further accommodation in the shape of a mobile home, situated at the bottom of the garden, including the bed and breakfast service. The mobile home is in an older style, but is comfortable with stunning views from the main windows and overlooks the ponies and horse stables to the rear.

Ashcroft B&B is located on the outskirts of Blagdon village with its famous trout fishing lake, numerous walks and country pubs. Situated on the edge of the Mendips, the property enjoys stunning views in all directions over the Mendip Hills, woodland and across the Channel to the Welsh Hills. The House is set in 1/4 acre of gardens with wonderful views over meadows and woodland. Ashcroft House is also at the top of Burrington Combe, which is a super starting point for many wonderful walks and mountain bike rides. The bottom of the Combe has a pleasant family café/restaurant, an ideal stop for tea and cake or an ice-cream after an essential view of the 'Rock of Ages'. Rooms are light, bright and attractively furnished. Beds are comfortable with good mattresses and fresh linens. All rooms have colour TV, hairdryer, lint roller, shaver adapter and shoe shine and refreshment trays. Breakfast is served in a buffet style, including mostly organic local produce, in the dining room which is the oldest part of the cottage. For guests bringing their horses, we offer summer grazing for visiting horses, maps and advice on routes.
