Stoberry Park is accessed by a driveway winding its way through picturesque parkland dotted with sheep, gradually revealing panoramic views of the City of Wells and the Vale of Avalon. Guests have the best of both worlds, a tranquil rural setting among 26 acres of parkland and yet within minutes walk of the city and its famous cathedral. You can expect a warm welcome at this striking family home where you will be well looked after throughout your stay. The family garden is a combination of wildlife ponds, water features, sculpture, a walled garden, gazebo, sunken garden, lime walk and several seated areas where you can relax and enjoy the views.

There are many interesting attractions to be found nearby including Wells Cathedral and the twice weekly markets held in the Market Place. A fifteen minute drive will take you to the historic village of Glastonbury with its ruined abbey and unique shops. Wookey Hole is just around the corner and can be reached in five minutes whilst Cheddar Gorge and Caves are a twenty minute drive. The magnificent Georgian city of Bath with its Roman Baths and stunning historic streets is a forty minute drive, as are the National Trust properties of Stourhead House and Montacute House. Longleat House and Animal Safari Park provide a complete contrast and are well worth a visit.

At Stoberry Park all of our luxurious bedrooms are equipped with TV, clock radio alarm, dressing gown, hair dryer and hospitality tray. There are three bedrooms and a Studio which is also available on a self catering basis. The Studio is tastefully furnished and has a beamed living/dining room with canopied double bedroom area, modern fitted kitchen and shower room. Start your day in our impressive drawing room with breathtaking views of the garden overlooking Wells Cathedral. Help yourself from the buffet with a selection of fresh fruit juices, yoghurts, dried fruit compote, prunes and grapefruit segments, a basket of breads and pastries and quality cereals. There is also a large platter of Somerset cheeses and continental meats. This can be followed up with a home cooked breakfast.
