Breakfast in the garden, weather permitting. Guests have use of the garden in the summer and a cosy fire in the sitting room in the winter. There is on street parking in the cul de sac behind the house and there is room for bicycles to be stored safely in the garden. Wireless access. Open all year. Border collie on the premises.

Two bedrooms, both with comfy double beds, bureaus and wardrobe. Tea and coffee making facilities. Fresh flowers in the rooms. Shared bathroom with bath and hand held shower. Bubble bath etc. provided. Again fresh flowers in the bathroom.
Specialities
55 St. Thomas Street is a stone built, two hundred year old cottage, part of a terrace of three. Like most early houses in Wells, it fronts close to the street, but behind the house is 100 foot garden with raised vegetable beds, chickens and a garden with a large collection of roses and other plants that make up a cottage garden. The atmosphere is very relaxed and easy going. Lynn Johnston, the owner owns an independent bookshop in nearby Castle Cary and has lived in the area for over twenty years so is a helpful guide on what to see.

Directions
Wells is a bit of a nightmare for drivers. St. Thomas Street is on the east side of Wells just to the east of the Cathedral. If you follow signs to the Horringtons when in Wells that will take you up St. Thomas Street. If you are coming from Shepton Mallet and the east take the Dulcote turn on the right when coming into Wells and go through Dulcote and you will come in on Tor Street. St Thomas Street is the right hand turn at the Fountain Pub. If you get lost ring me on 0779 154 9988. I will come and get you.
