The Post House provides luxury Bed and Breakfast, and the Old Bakery, high class Self Catering accommodation, in a four hundred year old village home, five miles from Wells and deep in the Mendip countryside.This Grade II listed building has been lovingly restored to a rustic French style elegance. The comfortable and relaxed atmosphere makes it an exciting haven from which to explore the Cathedral city of Wells and the Mendip Hills, with Bath, Bristol and Bristol Airport all within 25 minutes. Walkers, cyclists and cavers will find it particularly convenient for their outdoor pursuits.

Our Bed and Breakfast accommodation consists of three beautifully presented double rooms. All rooms are comfortably laid out with en-suite facilities and a range of features for your comfort and convenience, including tea/coffee and biscuits, flat Screen television with Freeview, hairdryer and an iron and ironing board can be made available on request. The Post House B&B has very flexible facilities, which include a newly renovated self catering annex which sleeps 2/4. The large sitting room has a baronial air and can incorporate a large dining table so that you can have your own dinner party. It opens out onto its own walled and secluded courtyard. It also has a 32" plasma television and an impressive stone feature fireplace. Together with the other two rooms in the Post House, this can make the ideal base in the Mendips for large families or small parties of up to six people.
