West Twitchen Ball Farm B&B is set on a stunningly positioned 270 acre working farm in the Exmoor National Park with exceptional views over the Devon countryside. The farmhouse dates back to Roman times and the word 'Ball' is Roman for 'Round Hill'. There still remains evidence of the old racecourse for chariots on the farm to this day. The farm lies on the old Roman road running to North Molton Hill and was the first settlement on the south west side of Exmoor. The farmhouse has been refurbished with loving care and now provides character guest accommodation with all the 21st Century comforts.

The countryside around West Twitchen Ball Farm is perfect for walking, riding, fishing, shooting and exploring. Any one of these activities can be arranged prior to your visit, should you require. The beautiful Doone Valley, Lynton and Lynmouth, the market towns of Barnstaple and South Molton and the wonderful Devon coastline all lie within easy reach. There are many excellent pubs nearby for a quiet drink and a meal. Foxes, buzzards, owls, woodcock, snipe, badgers and butterfly are all abundant on the farm and the 30 acres of ancient woodland.
