An impressive grade II listed folly castle situated in West Wiltshire, near Bath. Up to 12 people can be accommodated in the castle itself and a further 4 in the Clock House just 50 feet away. This imposing property sits in acres of its own private grounds and is surrounded by 500 year old oak trees, approached by a sweeping gravel driveway from the tree lined road. The castle retains many of its original features including thick stone walls, beamed ceilings, gargoyles, mullioned windows and inspiring historic fireplaces.

The heart of the house is the magnificent great hall, a majestic dining room with long table which can accommodate up to twenty guests. Above this is a chandelier which hangs from the high vaulted ceiling. The portcullis gates form the backdrop to this medieval scene and have been discreetly glazed to provide a seamless view across the front lawns. At the rear a tall conservatory style atrium affords views of the clock house and courtyard. The lounge/conservatory has four leather sofas in an engaging U shape, moveable tables, TV and entertainment system. The kitchen contains an original oil fired Aga along with a whole host of crockery, cutlery and modern conveniences, including the all important dishwasher. There is a small library with a modest book collection and novel giant books provide the seating.
