Buzzard Heights B&B is conveniently situated five miles from Bridgwater, six miles from Glastonbury and four miles from junction 23 of the M5 motorway. The property is set on a small holding made up of ten acres of wildflower pasture and private woodland in the beautiful Polden Hills. We overlook the battlefield of Aethandune and enjoy wonderful views of the Somerset countryside towards the Quantock and Blackdown Hills.

The smallholding is close to the Shapwick Heath nature reserve and the RSPB's Ham Wall nature reserve forming the Avalon Marshes and reed beds. The surrounding countryside is perfect for exploring by foot, cycle or horseback and there are plentiful opportunities for fishing and birdwatching to be found locally ,it is also very good for family's. The beaches at Burnham on Sea and Minehead are about 30/40 minutes away with Weston Super Mare, Taunton, Exeter and Bristol also to be found within easy reach.
Rooms Description
Buzzard heights B&B has two spacious bedrooms, both with en-suite walk in showers and baths. One is a family room with double and single beds and the other is a twin bedded room, cot's are on hand if needed. One of the rooms has disabled facilities and in addition there is the use of a stair lift. Each room is complete with tea and coffee making facilities, TV and mini fridge.
Specialities
A full English breakfast or lighter continental option is included in the price of your room. Our lounge/diner opens onto a large patio which is perfect for outdoor breakfasts, weather permitting. Most of our fruit & veg are organically grown within our smallholding. All of our eggs come from our free-range poultry. We also try to buy local if at all possible. There is also a very good e/Meal Menu.
