Welcome to Cascade Cottage, a spacious self catering holiday home located in the heart of Exmoor. It takes its name from the cascade that runs from the lake on the hill above the cottage. Fully refurbished in March 2009, the cottage is equipped with everything you'll need for a self catering break. Exmoor National Park straddles Devon and Somerset and boasts stunning landscapes, moorlands and villages.

There is something to do for everyone, whether you plan on a walking holiday, you come to enjoy the varied wildlife, to cycle the miles of pathways or to simply enjoy the views. Why not visit Tarr steps, Landacre Bridge, Dunkery Beacon or the historic Dunster Castle.

Rooms Description

The cottage has a spacious kitchen with a large dining table, electric cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. The sitting room has 2 large leather sofas, a wood burning stove and TV with DVD player. The utility room has a washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge/freezer, Belfast sink and the boiler for the central heating system. There is also a downstairs WC. Upstairs there is a large en-suite double bedroom at the front, a second en-suite double bedroom and a small twin room that is accessed through the second bedroom. The twin room is ideal for children, but is large enough for adults as long as they don't mind sharing a bathroom. We can also provide a cot.

Specialities

We provide a starter pack of "Ecover" cleaning products to get you going and if you prefer you can arrive to a freezer filled with food that you heat up in the oven or microwave. All our food is prepared on site using the best, and if possible, locally grown produce.
